Fade To Black Play Festival January 2021

Houston! It's that time again. Fade To Black: Houston's first and only African-American playwright festival that features short plays from talented writers from across the country will be running from January 15th through the 22nd. Spearheaded by Executive Director, Denise O'neal, playwrights have the opportunity to submit their works to be reviewed and chosen by herself and the board of directors. For those who meet the guidelines to qualify, selected playwright winners get the chance to have their works brought to life on stage and also win a cash prize.

I am very grateful to know this group of talented actors, directors, and staff. Every year, for every performance, it's a soul-stirring experience that you should make plans to be a part of.

Due to current circumstances and high consideration for your safety, this year's festival will be streaming on-demand on SHOWTIX4U, so you can watch it from the comfort of your own home. Click here for ticket pricing and additional streaming information. A limited number of discount tickets go on sale tomorrow, January 14th.
